The San Juan College Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Program will host a FREE event featuring the guidelines of CarFit, This FREE event will be on Saturday, October 10 from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the parking lot behind the School of Health Sciences and directly in front of the SJC Bookstore (Parking Lot C) on the San Juan College main campus.

CarFit is a program designed to help drivers find out how well they currently fit their personal vehicle, to highlight actions they can take to improve their fit, and to promote conversations about driver safety and community mobility. OTA faculty and students, who are trained technicians, will lead participants through a 20-minute, COVID safe, 12-point checklist and recommend vehicle adjustments and adaptations that could be make for a better “fit.” While the event has been traditionally aimed at older drivers, any one is welcome to attend the event
