Multiple dates from Monday, July 9th to Friday, July 13th

Event Summary

GenCyber or cybersecurity camps for elementary, middle and high school students are jam-packed with engaging and hands-on activities for children to cultivate their technology strengths and computer interests as they learn the importance of cyber safety. Students will use technology to explore cryptography, forensic investigations, and identity theft, providing a hands-on opportunity to discover a career in cybersecurity.
Because of the limited class size, those interested must complete a pre-registration application form. Campers must be willing to commit to the five-day camp and come to campus every day. Deadline for applications is Monday, June 4. The following week, camper’s families will receive an acceptance notification via email. There will be a waitlist for the camps in the event that students who initially were selected are unable to participate.
Register today for one of two free week-long sessions – Monday, June 25 through Friday, June 29 or Monday, July 9 through Friday, July 13. Each camp is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will consist of three groups of students from regional elementary, middle, and high schools.
For more information about the camps or to obtain an application, go to sanjuancollege.edu/GenCyberCamp or contact the Community Learning Center at 505-566-3214.
