Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event

This is a free and easy way to dispose of things which shouldn’t end up in the landfill. Things like batteries, CFL and fluorescent lightbulbs, wet paint, vehicle fluids, cleaners, and fertilizers.

This year, things are a little different.

There is only ONE drop-off location. It will be set up in the parking lot of the San Juan County Administration Building at 100 S. Oliver in Aztec.

Also, City of Farmington residents can now use curbside pickup for household hazardous waste, so those folks may not drop off any waste on the 21st.

We will ask for proof of residency for folks from Aztec, Bloomfield, Kirtland and the rest of the county. Folks from Farmington will be asked to schedule a pickup for their waste.
