Event Summary

The Powerhouse Science Center in Durango will host the Mobile Earth and Space Observatory from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 19th. The mobile observatory is a science center on wheels, giving participants interactive activities for all ages. The observatory is a program of the National Space Science and Technology Institute, Pikes Peak Observatory. Later that evening at dusk, the celestial telescopes will be brought out for public use. The event is free and open to all ages and the Powerhouse Science Center will be free all day as well.
