Conductor Dr. Teun Fetz will lead the San Juan College Symphonic Band in a in a Valentine’s Day performance. The concert will feature a world premiere performance of a new piece by Farmington composer and trumpeter Sean McNally called Lost City of the Monkey God. Other selections include A Glorious Summer Day by Satoshi Yagisawa, Gershwin By George! A George Gershwin Medley arranged by Jerry Brubaker, I Dreamed A Dream from the musical “Les Miserables” featuring a band soloist, In This Quiet Place by Robert Sheldon and March from Peer Gynt Suite No. 2 by Edward Grieg. Phantom of the Opera Medley by Andrew Lloyd Webber arranged by Paul Murtha and Prelude and Firestorm by Roland Barrett. Bring a date and enjoy an evening of fun, passionate and romantic music.
