Creative Entrepreneur Workshop Series

Farmington, June 23, 2021: WESST Farmington Women’s Business Center today announced open registration for a six-part workshop that will help entrepreneurs transform their craft from a hobby or passion to extra income in six short weeks. We are proud to provide New Mexicans with the business building tools that can elevate their passions and artistic visions while providing a path to financial sustainability. Essentials of Creative Entrepreneurship is perfect for Bakers, Beaders, Weavers, Pottery Makers, Woodworkers, Poets, Welders, Painters, Jewelers, and many other creative entrepreneurs that have formed the backbone of our great state’s artistic history and tradition.

The Farmington Women’s Business Center is offering no cost training is now open to any creator or maker that has a passion to start and grow a business. Topics covered in the six week training will included business modeling, marketing, finances, and other general business development topics. This training will be offered virtually via zoom.

WESST Farmington Women’s Business Center is proud to be a part of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Women’s Business Center Program.

Through the management and technical assistance provided by Women’s Business Centers programs, entrepreneurs — especially women who are economically or socially disadvantaged often are making goods or handmade items to supplement household income.
At WESST Farmington Women’s Business Center, we understand the unique challenges and needs of creative entrepreneurs. Our creative entrepreneur program is designed to be flexible and responsive to help and assist creative individual gain the tools and skills needed to become successful business owners.
