Biography: Connie Gotsch
Connie Gotsch received a BFA in Radio/TV/Film; and a Master of Fine Arts in Educational Media from New York University. She got her Ed.D. in Instructional Technology at Northern Illinois University. After working in radio and or teaching in Pennsylvania, Kansas, Upper New York State, Illinois, Iowa, and South Dakota, she has chosen Farmington as her home. Here she lives with her two pound puppies Kiri for Dame Kiri Te Kanawa and Ben for Benjamin Britten. She chose a career in public radio because it allows her to share classical music and the arts with other people.
An avid photographer, she shows black-and-white images around the Four Corners. Many of her shots come from her travels in Greece, Italy, England, France, Germany, and Canada.
In 2000, she brought out an e novel called "A Mouth Full of Shell" with dlsijpress.com The book is also available print-on-demand in paperback. In 2002, the book won first place for full-length fiction in the New Mexico Press Women Communication Contest. It placed second in the same category in National Federation of Press Women Competititon.
