Join us on Thursday, May 16 at 6:00pm as we welcome Dr. Lee Francis IV of Red Planet Books & Comics, the first Indigenous comic shop in North America.

Dr. Francis is CEO of Native Realities, publisher of books and comics featuring incredible tales of Indigenous icons, First Nations freedom fighters, Aboriginal astronauts, and Native American superheroes whose stories have long been coopted, unheard or ignored. In addition to contributing a story to Tales of the Mighty Code Talkers and editing the anthology, Dr. Francis is the author of Sixkiller and the illustrated workbook Native Entrepreneurs.

Following a presentation on Native Pop Culture and founding the first ever Indigenous Comic Con, merchandise from Native Realities will be available for purchase and Dr. Francis will take questions from the audience.
