Memorial For The Unclaimed

A memorial service in the sanctuary for all those who died this past year either homeless, indigent, or without any next of kin. Gather together for a community-wide service made up of spiritual communities, charities, governmental agencies, and all concerned neighbors as we remember individuals who died within the past year who were classified by the County as either indigent or unclaimed. The service will include a reading of their names, songs, reflection, and candlelight. This takes place on the evening of International Human Rights Day, observed every year to acknowledge and remember the inherent dignity of all human beings.
