5 Injured in Rollover Crash near Navajo Dam

Two occupants were transported from the scene to Mercy Regional Medical Center in Durango CO where they were treated for injuries believed to be non-life threatening.  Two additional occupants were transported from the scene to San Juan Regional Medical Center. One of the occupants was later airlifted to St. Anthony’s Hospital in Denver.

On Friday, June 26th, 2020 at approximately 9:30 p.m., New Mexico State Police Uniform Bureau in Farmington investigated a one vehicle rollover on NM Highway 511 near mile marker 25. There were five occupants in the vehicle. Two occupants were transported from the scene to Mercy Regional Medical Center in Durango CO where they were treated for injuries believed to be non-life threatening.  Two additional occupants were transported from the scene to San Juan Regional Medical Center. One of the occupants was later airlifted to St. Anthony’s Hospital in Denver.

Seatbelts appear to have been properly utilized and alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
