The coalition will be completely youth-led, allowing participants to choose activities such as art, playback theater, community service, and learning projects focused on local issues like bullying, peer pressure, and substance use. The program aims to give young people a safe space to express themselves, build leadership skills, connect with others, and have their voices heard. The San Juan County Partnership is currently recruiting youth, schools, counselors, and community organizations to participate in the program beginning in September.
