FLC's 65th Annual Student Juried Exhibition

Please join the Art and Design Department in celebrating the creativity and skill of our student artists this week with the opening reception of FLC's 65th Annual Student Juried Exhibition!
Out of over 175 student submissions, 55 artworks were selected by guest Juror Sarah McCormick to be included in this competitive exhibit.
McCormick says: “what ultimately guided my decisions was not simply resolution or polish, but evidence of an ongoing practice in artists who are building worlds and pushing beyond the expected. The selected works reflect a depth and discipline of thinking as much as of making. These students demonstrate curiosity about materials and methods, an interdisciplinary openness, and an ability to ask questions without easy answers.”
Please join us for the opening reception this Thursday 3/5 from 4:30-6:00pm. Awards will be announced at 5:15pm.
