The Fiesta de Santa Fe Mariachi Matinee invites you to experience an unforgettable celebration where soaring mariachi music and the breathtaking artistry of Ballet Folklórico unite in a vibrant tribute to New Mexico’s living heritage.

Born in the countryside of western Mexico during the eighteenth century, mariachi blends Indigenous, Spanish, and African influences into one of the world’s most celebrated musical traditions. Brilliant trumpets, soaring violins, guitars, the spirited vihuela, and the resonant guitarrón create a rich tapestry of sound, while expressive vocals tell stories of love, faith, family, perseverance, and celebration. Each performance is elevated by the dazzling movement of Ballet Folklórico dancers, whose swirling costumes and vibrant choreography transform every note into a feast for the senses.
