Farmington, NM – Celebrate the rich tapestry of Native and Indigenous cultures, traditions, and experiences over two days at A Native Way: Theatre, Film & Fashion. This exciting event, hosted by Two Worlds with the support of the Farmington Civic Center and Farmington Museum System, will take place around Downtown Farmington on July 12 and 13, 2024, offering a diverse array of activities and showcases.



Museum’s Education Assistants and sisters Felicia and Monicalynn Begay, known as ‘Team Begay’ have been hard at work helping to coordinate the weekend’s events. They share, “We are very excited to bring forward new and traditional talents. A Native Way is a celebration of the strength and beauty of the Native community as well as the Four Corners region.”



Day 1: Friday, July 12



· Live Music by Rhythm Wild
Location: Farmington Civic Center, 200 W Arrington
Time: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM



· Film Screening: "A Winter Love" by Rhiana Yazzie
Location: Totah Theater, 315 W Main Street
Time: Doors open at 7:00 PM



Day 2: Saturday, July 13



· Vendors and Information Booths

Explore a variety of vendors and information booths at two locations, offering unique crafts, artworks, and insights into Navajo culture and traditions.

Farmington Civic Center, 12:00 - 7:00 PM


· Film Screenings
Location: Totah Theater

Short Film TBA by Creative Spirit New Mexico and Kim Delfina Gleason

“More Than Frybread” by Travis Holt Hamilton
Time: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
· Tse Fashion Show and Silent Auction

Wrap up the event with the Tse Fashion Show, featuring stunning designs that blend traditional and contemporary styles. The evening will also include a silent auction and more.

Time: Doors open at 5:00 PM; Fashion show starts at 6:00 PM
