Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Mexico – San Juan County provides free youth mentoring programs that connect young people with caring adult and high school mentors who can make a lasting difference.

School-Based Mentoring: Volunteers meet with their Little at their school, spending time together through reading, schoolwork, games, activities, and conversations that help build confidence, social skills, and positive relationships.

Community-Based Mentoring: Adult volunteers spend time with their Little in the community through fun activities, outings, and shared experiences. Matches typically spend 4–8 hours together each month while building a meaningful, supportive relationship.

Our programs are free to participate, and we are currently looking for both volunteers and youth to join our mentoring programs. Whether you have time to give or are looking for a positive mentor for your child, you can make a BIG difference!
