Bilingual Children’s Musical: The City Dog and The Prairie Dog

The 2023 Young Audience Outreach Tour presents The City Dog and The Prairie Dog, a bilingual children’s musical, at the San Juan College (SJC) Henderson Performance Hall Thursday, October 19 at 9 a.m.

The City Dog and The Prairie Dog explores themes of community and belonging. Plan on lots of fun, laughter, dancing and singing for everyone. This is a show full of audience participation!

The book and lyrics were written by Diana Gristanti. The play is directed by Matt Zambrano, while the music was written by Emiliano Messiez and Bethany Eilean Talley was the choreographer.

The performance is appropriate for grades K through 6 and school groups are encouraged to attend. Admission is free for all students and $3 for adults.
