The San Juan County Historical Society presents a talk and exhibit on the importance of Turquoise among the Navajo and Pueblo people of the southwest. The event takes place at 6PM on Wednesday, October 22nd at the Farmington Civic Center.
This presentation will take you on a journey from the ancient Egyptian royalty to the cultures of the Aztec empire and to the doorstep of the Navajo matriarchs who wear it perpetually.
