The Village Band - free ragtime concert in the Aztec Pioneer Village

The Village Band returns for an exciting evening of ragtime tunes and songs. Hoyle Osborne leads and plays piano. He’ll be joined by Tennille Taylor & Cathy Pope, violins, Sandy Kiefer, cello, Mick Hess, cornet, Connie Schulz, euphonium, Don Allen, trombone, and Jane Voss, vocals & guitar.
There will be pieces by Scott Joplin, Eubie Blake, and other great composers of the early 20th century, plus a couple of Hoyle’s award-winning original ragtime compositions.
Enter the Pioneer Village through the west gate on Park Avenue, near the splash pad.
These concerts are made possible through a grant from the Connie Gotsch Arts Foundation.
