Entry Fee Enforcement Begins at Farmington Lake

The $5 fee includes entry into the beach. Please remember, the beack is Lake Farmington's only designated swimming area. Citations will be issued for non-payment of the entry fee and swimming in non-designated areas.

From Farmington Police:

Starting June 14, the Farmington Police Department will begin enforcing the $5 entry fee for Lake Farmington. The fee was implemented in March 2017 with a 90-day grace period. The $5 fee includes entry into the beach. Please remember, the beack is Lake Farmington's only designated swimming area. Citations will be issued for non-payment of the entry fee and swimming in non-designated areas.

Suspect Arrested after Sexual Assault

Neither individual was a student or staff member of San Juan College. The female victim reported that an altercation occurred between her and the male, Tyson Saggboy. She reported that Saggboy battered her, removed her clothing, and strangled her before fleeing the scene.
