Police Investigate Shooting

The 29-year-old Farmington resident was still breathing and was transported to San Juan Regional Medical Center by ambulance. His last known status as of early this morning, was that he was placed on life support.

From Farmington Police: 

The Farmington Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred late last night. At approximately 11:25 p.m. Farmington police were dispatched to the Mesa Village Apartments located at 1750 E. Elm Street in reference to an individual who had been shot. Officers arrived on scene and found a male subject lying in the doorway with a gunshot wound to his forehead.The 29-year-old Farmington resident was still breathing and was transported to San Juan Regional Medical Center by ambulance. His last known status as of early this morning, was that he was placed on life support.The Farmington Police Department’s Detective Division has assumed the investigation and is following leads on a possible suspect.
