Police Seek Info about Sexual Assault

Detectives have canvassed the area on foot and collected any surveillance footage they could, and are combing through that footage now. Detectives are also working with the victim and her family and friends to identify possible suspects and seeking public input.

Farmington detectives are asking anyone with information about a reported sexual assault that occurred in the early morning hours on May 26, 2020, to come forward. The victim knocked on the door of a residence on Behrend seeking help, reporting that several men had attacked her.  Officers and detectives immediately began searching for the suspects.  Detectives have canvassed the area on foot and collected any surveillance footage they could, and are combing through that footage now. Detectives are also working with the victim and her family and friends to identify possible suspects and seeking public input.

 

 Anyone with information, and who was in the area of Apache St. and 20th St., between Auburn Ave. and Butler Ave., from midnight to 4 a.m. on May 26, 2020, is asked to please contact the Farmington Police Department. To help the speed of the investigation, detectives are asking citizens to only report tips they are confident relate to this case.
