Teen Suspect Arrested after Armed Robbery

On Tuesday, October 27, Farmington detectives received a tip regarding the suspect’s identity. Detectives made contact with the individual and took him to the station for questioning. The suspect, who has been identified as 17-year-old Jeremy Tryon of Farmington, was arrested and charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

From Farmington Police:

On Saturday, October 24 at approximately 2:26 a.m. Farmington police were dispatched to the Giant gas station located at 2603 E. 20th St in reference to an armed robbery. Officers contacted the two female employees who were present at the time of the incident. They learned that a male individual entered the store wearing an all-black costume and Scream mask. The man walked up to the counter, brandished a firearm and demanded money. He then fired a round over the employee’s head before running out of the store. The suspect left with approximately $70 in cash from the register.

 

On Tuesday, October 27, Farmington detectives received a tip regarding the suspect’s identity. Detectives made contact with the individual and took him to the station for questioning. The suspect, who has been identified as 17-year-old Jeremy Tryon of Farmington, was arrested and charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was booked in the San Juan County Juvenile Detention Center.
