Breaking News: Missing 11 year old girl found Dead

An unknown Native American male abducted Ashlynn. Abductor was last seen in the area of Navajo Route 36 Mile Post 13 at 4:00 p.m., the vehicle is described as a maroon van.  Unknown vehicle make, unknown license plate. Anyone with information should contact the Federal Bureau of Investigation Albuquerque Office at 505-889-1300.

The FBI confirms that the body of 11 year old Ashlynn MIke was found today near the Shiprock pinnacle.  She was reported missing Monday around 4pm and an Amber Alert was issued early this morning.

The girl was last seen Monday in San Juan County around 4:00 p.m.

The Central Consolidated School District, where Ashlynn went to Ojo Amarillo Elementary School, placed counselors at the school Tuesday to speak
with the students and staff about her passing.
The District, which was part of a volunteer search team earlier Tuesday, worked and will continue to work closely with the FBI, the New Mexico State Police, the BIA Police, the Navajo Nation Police, and the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office.

Adrian Begay followed them to the exterior of the residence when De Andre Julian produced a handgun and shot Adrian Begay multiple times in the chest at close range.
