Farmington, NM - On Monday. September 14th, 2015, at approximately 0636 hours, Farmington Police Officers were dispatched to the Rimrock Inn, 2530 Bloomfield Hwy, in reference to a found body.

Farmington, NM - On Monday. September 14th, 2015, at approximately 0636 hours, Farmington Police Officers were dispatched to the Rimrock Inn, 2530 Bloomfield Hwy, in reference to a found body. The body was observed by the caller through an open door, on the floor of one of the rooms. When officers arrived, they located a deceased adult male. Detectives and crime scene personnel are currently investigating the death as a homicide. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending next of kin notification. Authorities Search for DWI Treatment Center Escapee

The suspect escaped during Sunday afternoon church services. He asked to go to the bathroom and never returned, immediately initiating a count and search of the facility. This is the first escape in the 31-year history of the jail-based treatment center.
