The Laws family embodies a strong commitment to Aztec Schools. His dedication extends beyond the school day, as he invests countless hours in guiding young athletes toward success. Meanwhile, their daughter, Ali, has been a proud Aztec Schools student since beginning Kindergarten. She continues to benefit from the nurturing environment and quality education the district provides. The entire Laws family feels blessed to be a part of this community and school district.

Lauren’s goals as Interim Superintendent are to Strengthen Relationships, Enhance Educational Excellence, and Build and Maintain Collaborative Environments throughout the district. Lauren understands the importance of building strong stakeholder relationships and will work to build strong communication links with each site, and department to develop a better understanding of the needs and challenges that exist or arise. She will work to support professional development, ensuring equitable access to resources and opportunities for all educators, students, and staff. She will work with parents and members of the school community to promote positive outcomes for Aztec students.
