SJC Showers Available During AV Water Crisis

            Crouch Mesa residents currently under a boil advisory, can shower in the San Juan College Health and Human Performance Center on the Farmington campus for free during regular business hours until usable water has been restored. Residents will have access to the HHPC locker rooms, as well.             The HHPC regular hours are 4:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 4:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and closed on Sunday. The HHPC will also be closed on July 4.

    Crews arrived to find a structure on fire and the occupant inside.  Despite a quick response from fire crews and efforts by San Juan County Sheriff’s Deputies, one occupant was removed from the structure by firefighters and transported to the hospital by San Juan Regional Medical Center EMS. The occupant was pronounced dead at the hospital.
