Woman Sought after Aztec Bank Robbery

The suspect is described a Hispanic female, approximately 40-45 years old, about 5' tall, with a medium build. She wore a large white sun hat, sunglasses, a long-sleeve navy blue sweatshirt and white pants.

From the FBI: A woman wearing a large white sun hat and sunglasses robbed the Four Corners Community Bank in Aztec on Friday (10/9/2015).

The suspect is described a Hispanic female, approximately 40-45 years old, about 5' tall, with a medium build.

She wore a large white sun hat, sunglasses, a long-sleeve navy blue sweatshirt and white pants.

Witnesses said the suspect at approximately 11:45 a.m. entered the bank located at 1301 W. Aztec Blvd. and gave a teller a note demanding money.

The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect, who left the bank.

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to call the FBI at 505-889-1300.

The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to arrest and conviction of a bank robber.

Bank robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years. The use of a gun, other dangerous weapon, toy gun, or hoax bomb device during the commission of a bank robbery can be punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years.
