Adopt-A-Pet Tuesday! : With Amber Francisco

The Scott Michlin Morning Program

Tuesday, September 29, 2026 - 5 minutes

The Tuesday morning “Adopt a Pet” segment on KSJE features Amber Francisco from the Farmington Regional Animal Shelter, who introduces listeners to dogs looking for forever homes. This week, Amber highlights Clover, a playful six-month-old retriever mix; Miss Chunky Salsa, a fun-loving and intelligent two-year-old Doberman; and Vanessa, a laid-back one-year-old terrier mix.

All three dogs are ready to be adopted and are available to meet at the shelter, which is open seven days a week from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The segment encourages listeners to visit the shelter, share the animals’ stories, and help find them loving families.
